I let Terry have at it with the camera one day… Mom and I took her pram to Southpark… while Mom ran in a store do to some shopping for her I let Terry have the camera while we took a “calm down” break at some comfy couches…hilarity ensued with him taking 500+ photos. Hey he was having fun! I’ll just let you see… FYI – most of them are the same!

September Pics of Fun!
Went to work-- to work!
I spend today at work. It was a good trial day to see how everyone will do - we will be fine I'm sure. It was good to have a day back before I have to go back to clean my desk and practice being away from my boys. We all survived but it sure is good to know that I've got 3 more weeks to go!
I couldn't get over how QUIET it was at work! I kept saying its too quiet to think - it was! I had a hard time concentrating with all that quiet! Not one person asked me to fix them anything to eat or to wipe their bottom! Go figure - it was quite a different day!
We are off to the beach soon - Baby's first beach trip! I can hardly wait to get my toes in the sand again! Hopefully its a great trip and we all are able to relax and enjoy it! Fingers crossed!

4 weeks to go!
W is 8 weeks old tomorrow. That means in 4 weeks I'm back at work. I know its too early to start dreading it - but I do! I will so miss his little face every minute of the day - and T's energy and excitement over things like "laundry day!" I swear I have the best boys on earth! I'm gonna miss them! But it will be good to get back to a routine -- I reserve the right to revoke that statement in a few weeks when I'm exhausted and my house is a wreck!
I know I'm not exactly a stay at home mom (SAHM) but I've been impersonating one for 8 weeks now and to compare the two lives neither one is "easier" there are benefits to both - a SAHM never gets a break but she also doesn't come home after 10 hours away and tries to fit in 10 hours of bonding and quality time in before bed - as well as cooking a healthy dinner, doing laundry, dishes, and bedtime. See a SAHM has more time at HOME. You can throw a load of laundry in at any point during the day. At any point during the day you can take something out of the freezer for dinner. This WOHM spends 4 days of every week kicking myself for not remembering to take anything out to defrost. Yet a WOHM gets to have her own identity more so than a SAHM. Its nice to know that should the bottom fall out of my life - we WILL survive. Some SAHMs don't have that safety net. Paula Deen is my new working mom mentor. Look what she did on her own with her two boys -- surely if she can do that I can manage this life of mine - I've got SuperDad to help me out! (Although Super Dad does have more laundry and is a pickier eater than the boys! = However his skills at helping me not lose my mind on a daily basis is worth his laundry alone! )
I think I've decided that no life is ideal. No life is perfect. You just take the good and take the bad and then you have the .... oh wait my musical ADD just kicked in.... sorry! Where was I? Oh yeah... live your life and enjoy the benefits you have. WOHM's enjoy the break you get - and don't worry about the laundry! You have to work tomorrow anyway so no one will be home to notice that its stacking up. Kiss your babies cause they grow faster than laundry. Remember - quality time doesn't have to be expensive or fancy. It just has to be done TOGETHER. Sometimes quality time is baking cookies and sometimes its doing laundry. Just make it fun whatever it is and it counts. I'm writing this now to refer to later when i need to remember that. No one is perfect. :)

Adventures in venturing out!
What a day! I've got two blog posts in me today... not sure if I'll get them all out tonight we will see! First a picture of me and my cutie!
So this morning I woke up with a shocking headache - before both boys - (who were both in my bed - one due to nightmares because he saw a scary mask on TV) I got ready to go - we were adventuring out to Stumptown (Or Matthews Alive if your new to town) Becky and Katie were going with us... As I was getting ready T woke up and starting screaming - got him calmed down and made him realize its 9am - the sun is up nothing to be scared of now! So he was getting ready, I was ready - time to prepare the baby! I was changing his diaper on my bed - I turned around to grab an extra wipe and then felt something warm on my jeans. SIGH. Yep as I looked down I saw it - W peed on me. He had apparently been saving it up. The bed was soaked as was I -- and then as I jumped up I realized so was the keypad on my blackberry! ACK!!! NO!!!!
Turned it off and on and off and on and off and on... it would come on but the keys didn't work. No time to worry about that! I had a festival to get to! Took me until 11:15 to leave the house. Oy! Picked up Becky and Katie and off we went! First stop was Great Clips to get Terry's haircut. As I'm getting out of the car and walking the 10 feet to the door -- I trip -- and almost break my ankle. Ew. Then T decides he doesn't want a haircut. Kiki the Great talks him in to it. Cousins are the best! We get his haircut -- poor thing looks like Eddie Munster with his cowlicks. Off we go to breakfast! (Yes at noon!) As we leave breakfast we almost get sideswiped. (Seriously?) I look at Becky and say I'm certain I should go home and get back in bed!
We get to Stumptown and actually find a parking spot! I decide to take my nice camera (Really I mean what ELSE could happen?) We go and melt walking around Terry gets to ride some rides and he is having a BALL. Becky and Katie are sooooo super helpful! I pull my camera out and cut it on and it says "Lens Not Attached" It was. I'm looking everywhere for hidden cameras. Meanwhile my phone STILL won't work. I wiggle the lens turn it off and on and THANKFULLY it works! Major crisis avoided! I decide thats it we need to leave while my luck is on the upswing! Off we go to ride the "horses" one more time and then head home with me avoiding every crack in the sidewalk.
We made it Stallings event free so I stopped and bought Terry an ice cream! I tried my phone one more time and IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RELIEF!
It was a super fun day --- super exhausting! I couldn't have done it without Becky and Katies help! Taking two somewhere like that was such an adventure! ACK!
All in all it was a great weekend -- Everyday with my boys is a new adventure to be discovered and so far its an exhaustingly joyous time!

Happy One Month Wilson!
Today is Wilson's one month old bday! (Well Friday was when I started writing!) Happy Birthday sweet little man! I really thought if I got up at 8am it'd be enough time to get us out of the door! Yeah not so much! LOL! (I didn't even plan on drying my hair or putting on makeup!) We escaped the house in a fury of flying shoes, burp clothes and diapers at 9:30 -- for our 9:40 doctors appt in Matthews.
Oops!
Luckily the doctors office was running behind to! Thankful for small miracles! Baby Wilson weighed 6lbs 4oz 3 days after he was born -- today he was a WHOPPING 9lbs 1.5oz! GO BABY GO!! That is almost 3lbs in a month! For a preemie that is (doctors words) "OUTSTANDING!" Yep I knew it. I only have outstanding children! He is also now 22 inches long -- 2 inch growth! He is an overachiever just like big brother! We are going to work on setting up a bedtime now - for now 10pm and we will gradually move it up. I'm excited to have a plan of a schedule!
After that we went to Panera to celebrate where Terry begged for a cinnamon roll and a bear claw thing. I got one of each and he got to eat half of each. He was thrilled! We ran home and grabbed the stroller and pumped up the tires for a big adventure! SOUTHPARK MALL! We got to the mall and got in ok -- even returned all the baby girl clothes I bought incase we had a girl. We ran into a problem when I took my hand off the stroller for an instant to hand the lady a credit card. Terry picked that moment to knock the stroller over! Car seat tumbled out (with baby in it - Thank God he was strapped in!) car keys, cell phone, water bottle - all went flying. I threw my wallet down to grab the baby and its contents went flying. OY!
After we got everything picked up and straightened out we took a breather and talked about NOT touching the stroller! (I'm not venturing to the mall again until I get a Sit and Stand Stroller!) We met Nancy and Ellen my work friends for lunch and ended up staying at the mall for 4 hours I got lots of walking done! I figured since the worst had happened and we all survived it that we could stay and enjoy the day! We did!
Best purchase of the day: Matching PJ's for the boys -- They are camo and one says BIG BROTHER and the other says LITTLE BROTHER. Terry was beyond thrilled at finding them!
When we got home at 5pm Steven promptly suggested we go to the MALL! So off we went to Bass Pro at Concord Mills. It was quite the day!

Here we go again!
Instead of a website all about Terry and one about Wilson I'm creating a blog to keep up with both boys -- after all I'm short on time now that I'm trying to raise (control, tame, you know) TWO Younts boys. God sure has a lot of faith in what I can handle if you go by the "He only gives you what you can handle" quote. He better stick right alongside me since I'll need all of his help to get these boys raised right!
Hopefully I can keep up with this site and let you all have a peek at the journey Steven and I have embarked on! Wish me luck - I'm going to need it and the winning lottery ticket if you've got one! :)

| The Younts' First Family Picture |
So here we are - for the first time as a family. Terry was SO excited to meet his brother - yet he did remind me that he wanted a girl but a brother would be ok he supposed. I reminded him that God gave us what we needed. Terry's first response to Wilson was "Mommy! Why doesn't he have legs?" M- "He does sweetie - they are all bundled up in the blanket." Wilson's response to this was to stick his tongue out. (typical brothers!) Terry then exclaimed "Mommy! He has a TONGUE!"
Its been a month now and Terry still loves his baby brother. I've called Terry "sonshine" ever since the day he was born -- I accidently called Wilson Sonshine and apologized to Terry -- who then declared it was ok for me to call him sonshine -- "Mommy its ok! You can call him sonshine too! You can just have TWO sonshines!" So in my universe I spin around 2 sons - from son up to son down! (Which is a whole lotta up right now! LOL!
Hope you enjoy reading about this crazy life we are living!
