When it rains it pours?

What a month we've had. It's times like these that writing is my outlet -- maybe that means I'll get in the habit of updating my blog? Maybe to the point that I'd actually tell people about it?

Probably not. ;)

In the last month... We ALL got the stomach bug that ruined our Christmas, we ended up having family redo Christmases too soon and gave my Dad, my Mother-in-law, Sister-in-law and Brother-in-law all the stomach bug. (Sharing is caring????) Then Wilson got an ear infection, a BAD one, that made us go to the doctor on a Sunday. Then the television in the master bedroom went out. Thats just awesome 2 weeks after Christmas. It will work one day, then not for 2-3 days. Since my super handy hubby mounted in IN the wall 25 feet in the air we can't exactly look at it and wiggle the wires. SIGH... so family trip to best buy is inorder let me grab my visa gift cards and off we go. Lets eat at Chickfila first -- Oh no its raining... kick purse under seat and grab a kid and run in. Come back out 15 minutes later to find a broken window and no purse. CRAP! There goes our night and my nice visa gift card and the $140 cash I had for the tv. SIGH. Ok lets move on. It happened it sucks - it was my fault -- however in 15 years that hasn't happened even the police were shocked and didn't scold me on how stupid it was. They couldn't believe someone would be THAT bold in that parking lot. Moving on... Terry and Steven play fighting me screaming "Stop before someone gets hurt!!" Then someone gets hurt. $50 copay to take Steven to the knee specialist to find out its bruised very badly and he needs to stay off of it.

Awesome month right?

Doesn't matter. I'm NOT going to loose my positive attitude. I'm NOT. I refuse. No one died. No one has cancer. Our house didn't burn down. The same night my purse was stolen a 17 year old died down the road in a car accident. 3 others in the same car were all in serious condition. Those moms are having a MUCH worse night than me. Whats a couple hundred dollars and HOURS of pain in the rear credit card cancellations dmv dealings compared to a lifetime altered by a car accident? Sure the realization that Wilson is getting his 2 year molars made me faulter a little but ok that means a lot of sleepless nights and a grumpy baby -- but atleast I've got my baby and he is healthy and growing. Your not gonna knock me down world. Your just not. But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop trying? Just for a bit? I'm scared to walk outside for fear of a random stoplight falling on my head - I mean really am I making thse stuff up? Is it just karma getting me back for how fantastic my kids are?  Really universe I get it. You can knock me down when I LEAST expect it. I DO appreciate you not knocking me so far down that I can't ever get back up again but really I'm hanging on by a thread now. Can we just have a break? For a bit? That'd be nice. Really nice of you.
